Kaylyn has had a passion for hair since a young age, working in salons since she was 15. After getting her education at Douglas J she worked at their Ann Arbor salon location for a few years before moving out west for a decade. After getting married, starting a family and building loyal clientele in Washington state she moved back to Michigan. Now here she is fulfilling the goal she set for herself at 15 to someday own her own salon. With a love for creating, her favorites are wedding hair, lived in colors, effortless cuts, and extensions. Beyond the chair she enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, enjoying the outdoors in anyway possible, a good book and plenty of rom coms.

Sarah Beth

Sarah Beth is our in house curl specialist. She first studied Cosmetology at Douglas J and pursued her dream of moving to NYC shortly after. Her first assistant role at Devachan taught her an immeasurable amount about textured hair. Above all, Sarah Beth finds most satisfaction helping clients feel more confident in their natural texture, and ability to style it themselves. The pandemic brought her back to the mitten and she is happy to be reestablishing herself here at Golden. Beyond the chair she enjoys scouring estate sales, singing karaoke, and relaxing with her husband and two cats.

Tracy Klieman

Massage Therapist/Reiki practitioner/Esthetician

Tracy began her training at Irene’s Myomassology after hearing a commercial for holistic healing. Nervous, but upon arrival she noticed that the building had a message etched into the glass, above the door… ”The essence of our being is love”. She immediately knew she was home. Tracy began to build a loyal clientele working in a chiropractic office. This gave her the opportunity to really develop her skills and hone in her craft. But something was missing. After 5 years she decided to step back from the office and continued to work out of her home. This decision allowed her to have the time to go back to school. Tracy studied Esthiology at Douglas J. Being able to provide healing from the inside out is Tracy’s main goal for everyone. Tracy’s love for her profession stems from creating a safe place for her clients. Beyond giving her clients a mini vacation from the real world, she enjoys being by the water, anything bravo , simply being home and spending time with her husband, Aaron, and their cat, Cake.

Kenedi Gordon

Kenedi has been a hairstylist for the last five years and made the move from California to Michigan. She built a loyal clientele and trained an assistant at Union salon in Pasadena, where she still flies out to do hair every few months. Kenedi specializes in enhancing a clients natural color through balayage to create perfectly sunkissed looks. Experienced with all hair types, she practices mostly dry haircutting to create soft and lived in styles as well as razor techniques for defined shaping and shags. Beyond the salon she enjoys reading, thrifting, and since moving to the mitten has found a new love for kayaking.
